FAQs
Good to know before you enquire.
General guidance on booking, on-the-day practicalities and festival bookings. Every event is different, so treat this as a starting point — we’ll confirm specifics for your booking directly.
Booking & pricing
What’s included in the price?
Pricing is available on request and tailored to your event — equipment, numbers, location and hire duration all affect the quote. Get in touch with your details and we’ll come back with options.
How do we pay?
We offer flexible payment — pay on the day or prepay, whichever suits you better. Full booking terms, including any deposit and minimum hire details, are confirmed when we quote your event.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates — weekends, summer months and school holidays — get booked up fastest, so an early enquiry gives you the widest choice of equipment. That said, it’s always worth asking even for shorter notice.
Can you source equipment that isn’t listed on the site?
Yes — our equipment page covers our regular range, but we can source additional or bespoke rides and attractions for specific event needs. Tell us the brief and we’ll look into it.
Do you cover areas outside Essex?
We’re based in Hornchurch and cover Essex and the surrounding areas. Get in touch with your location and we’ll confirm whether we can reach you.
On the day
Do you provide staff to supervise rides and equipment?
Many of our larger rides are typically staffed for the duration of the hire. Smaller, self-contained inflatables are usually supervised by the hirer unless agreed otherwise. Always confirm exactly what’s included for your specific equipment when you enquire.
What space and access do we need?
As a general guide, most rides and inflatables need reasonably flat, debris-free ground and a clear route for delivery vehicles — larger rides need more room and taller access than a single bouncy castle. Let us know your venue and we’ll confirm what your chosen equipment needs.
Do you supply power, or do we need to provide it?
It depends on the equipment — some rides are self-powered or generator-based, while other equipment needs a nearby mains supply. We’ll confirm the power requirements for whatever you book.
What happens if the weather turns?
Outdoor rides and inflatables are weather-dependent — strong wind or heavy rain can affect what can safely operate on the day. We’ll always talk through the options with you ahead of your event.
Is your equipment safety checked?
Safety is central to how we operate our rides and equipment. If you’d like more detail on our safety and inspection processes for a specific booking, just ask when you enquire.
Festivals & shows
Can you supply equipment for a festival or show on a different basis?
Yes — for festivals, shows and public events with their own footfall, we can attend on a percentage/commission basis instead of standard hire. See our festivals & shows page for more detail, or get in touch to discuss your event.
What’s the difference between hiring you and booking you for a festival?
Private and corporate hire is a straightforward booking fee for the equipment you choose. Festival and show bookings work differently — because the event already has its own visitors, we can agree a percentage or commission arrangement instead. Terms are agreed individually per event.
